Belgrade Model UN, 24-27.3.2005





Dear friends,



We are glad to inform you that the United Nations Association of
Serbia is organizing for the second time ”BELGRADE INTERNATIONAL
MODEL UNITED NATIONS - BIMUN” in Belgrade from 24 - 27 March
2005.



 ”Belgrade International Model UN – BIMUN 2005” is a youth
conference on which the sessions of the following two bodies will
be simulated:

• the UN SECURITY COUNCIL - theme: ”Terrorism and international
security” and

• COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS - theme: ”Children and women
trafficking in southeastern Europe”.



Students of social sciences from southeastern European countries
(Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia,
Romania, Slovenia and Serbia and Montenegro) will participate at
the conference, as well as representatives from other countries
(Greece, Hungary, Spain, Great Britain...)..



Eligible to take part in this event are social sciences´ students
and postgraduates up to 27 years old. The working language will
be English.

The participants need to pay fee of 50 Euros and traveling
expenses.

Hotel accommodation and food will be covered by the organizer.

The deadline for application is January, 31th 2005.
