 This year the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics
(SASE) is holding its Annual Meeting in Budapest. For details on
SASE and the conference see www.sase.org.

 To encourage the participation of Central and Eastern Europeans,
SASE will provide up to five travel and lodging grants of $500 to
qualified participants. See the formal notice attached. If you
know other people circulate the information to them.

 SASE Annual Meeting Local Committee – Grants to Eastern
Europeans The Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics
(SASE) will hold its Annual Meeting at the Central European
University and Corvinus University of Budapest (formerly the
Budapest University of Economic Sciences) from June 30 - July 2,
2005.  To encou! rage the participation of Eastern Europeans,
SASE will provide up to five (5) travel and lodging grants of
$500 to qualified participants.  Those who wish to apply for this
grant should send a completed paper by e-mail to the SASE office
(office@sase.org) by February 15, 2005.  Awards will be announced
by April 1, 2005.  A paper proposal form should also be sent to a
network organizer by the normal submission process.  Papers will
not be considered for a stipend unless a network organizer has
accepted the abstract.  Details on submitting proposals are
available on the SASE web site: www.sase.org.

 Saint-Petersburg State University (School of International
Relations) invites students to take part in Saint-Petersburg
Student International Model United Nations. It will be held from
27 of March till 3 of April 2005.
