The Borders in South Eastern Europe: Culture and Politics (18-21 century), 5-6.9.2003, Portoroz COLLOQUE INTERNATIONAL LE FAIT MILITAIRE DANS LES ÉTATS ET LES SOCIÉTÉS DU SUD-EST EUROPÉEN (XVIII-XXI SIÈCLES) APPEL À COMMUNICATIONS Depuis 1989, l'impact du fait militaire dans l'histoire socio-politique et socio-culturelle du Sud-Est européen fait l'objet de recherches novatrices. À l'heure actuelle, il est plus que jamais évident que les questions de sécurité collective sont au centre des réflexions politiques à l'oeuvre dans cette région. Notre groupe de recherche a organisé l'an dernier sa première rencontre internationale, dont les résultats seront bientôt publiés. Forts de cette expérience réussie, nous annonçons notre deuxième colloque LES FRONTIÈRES DANS L'EUROPE DU SUD-EST : CULTURE ET POLITIQUE (XVIII-XXI SIÈCLES) qui se tiendra les 5-6 septembre 2003 à Portoro (Slovénie). Inséparables du "fait militaire", les frontières ont également une fonction de définition des espaces culturels et politiques. Nous proposons donc quatre grands thèmes de réflexion : les frontières mentales (religieuses, ethniques, linguistiques, culturelles) ; les frontières contestées ; les frontières d'intégration ; les frontières et la sécurité nationale. Nous vous invitons à faire parvenir votre projet de communication (2 pages) au professeur Duan Neak (faculté de philosophie de l'université de Ljubljana) : dusan.necak@guest.arnes.si avant le 1er décembre 2002. Es ist heutzutage immer wieder deutlich, wie wichtig die Fragen der kollektiven Sicherheit im politischen Denken dieser Region sind. Unsere Forschungsgruppe organisierte letztes Jahr über dieses Thema ihre erste Konferenz, deren Ergebnisse bereits in Drucklegung geraten sind. Dank dieser Erfahrung beschlossen wir, eine zweite Tagung zu veranstalten DIE GRENZEN IN SÜDOSTEUROPA : KULTUR UND POLITIK (18-21.JHR.) die am 5.-6. September 2003 in Portoro (Slowenien) stattfinden wird. Die Grenzen gehören sowohl dem militärischen Faktor und ihre Problematik definiert kulturelle und politische Räume. Wir führen also vier Hauptthemen ein : die mentalen (religiösen, ethnischen, sprachlichen und kulturellen) Grenzen ; bestrittene Grenzen ; Grenzen der Integration ; die Grenzen und die nationale Sicherheit. Wir bitten Sie, ein zweiseitiges Referatsprojekt bis zum 1. Dezember d.J. an Univ. Prof. Dr. Duan Neak (filosophische Fakultät der Universität Ljubljana) : dusan.necak@guest.arnes.si, zu schicken. At the present time, it is more than ever obvious that the questions of collective security are at the centre of the political thinking of the region. Thanks to this experience, we decided to stage a second conference THE BORDERS IN SOUTH EASTERN EUROPE : CULTURE AND POLITICS (18-21. CENTURIES) to be held on 5.-6. September 2003 in Portoro (Slovenia). The boarders are as well part of the military factor, they also play a role in the definition of cultural and political spaces. Therefore we suggest four main panels : the mental (religious, ethnic, linguistic and cultural) boarders ; the disputed boaders ; the boarders of integration ; the boarders and national security.
