Summary of project outputs as set in project proposal

The main expected results of the first phase include:

  • Surveys and survey reports on the capacities, values, attitudes and actions of school directors towards advancing educational inclusion and quality at school level in five/ six SEE countries.
  • A number of twenty to thirty participatory action research projects carried out in the 10 SEE countries with the involvement of about 800 to 2000 participants, including students, parents and teachers and the related reports.
  • Country volumes in local languages on the findings of the national surveys of school directors and the results of participatory action research.
  • A regional synthesis volume of the country survey and action research findings in English.

The sustainability will be assured through the continuous, collaborative and coordinated advocacy efforts of the project participants, other national and international public and private organization for the national and local education authorities to implement the measures reducing inequity and increasing the quality of education and to support the development of new initiatives toward this goal.

 

To sustain the momentum created by the project, ESP shall provide the assistance to the initiatives by, for example, targeted capacity building (advocacy skills for parents, fundraising), matching funds for the initiation, continuation and/or the expansion of the relevant projects, establishing the partnerships with other international organizations and associations and linking them to the country and/or regional activities, etc.
